So I went with the girls to Moscow today. It was so fun, just us, not even buying much. And I got to meet Alex! So on Friday I lost my Cougarcard and some guy named Alex found it outside Todd Hall. And instead of just taking it to the Cougarcard Center he found me on Facebook. So after talking to him on Facebook for a bit he gave me his number and we planned to meet at the mall in Moscow. So now I have my Cougarcard back! YAY!
So while we were shopping I got new shoes (becuase a girl can NEVER have too many shoes). I really didn't end up getting many christmas presents for people. I got a bunch of stuff while I was at home though, so I think I'm ok. I did however get decoratoins for my room! Now it looks so Christmasy and I'm extra excited to go home for the holidays. :)
So also on Sunday I went mudding with Karl and the girls, it was so fun! I hope we go again this weekend, even if it snows. My car did pretty well too, got most of the way there before we all piled in Karl's truck. It was a little crowded in there but still really fun!
So this next week thats coming up is going to SUCK! I have so much homework to get done before finals. Its not like its that hard, its just that there is so much to do, I hate being piled with work that is really boring. Like English for example, I have 5 essays to edit and 2 reflection papers to write! I hate writing so much!

I'm Back Again
So I'm finally back on campus. I loved being home, but I really missed this place too. There is always so much going on here and I'm always having fun. Of course being back though also means that finals are coming up. Not at all excited for that.
Finally registered for all my classes too. I'm taking chem 105, phsyc 105, math 140, and philosophy 101. Not sure what philosophy is going to be like, but it looked fun. I'm also taking a lot less credits next semester. This semester I took 17 credits, but next semester I'm going to only take 14 credits. I'm thinking I might get a job though. I'll have to wait and see how hard or easy these classes are though.
So I've decided that now that I'm back I'm gonna try to go up to the REC more often and work out (we'll see how well that works out though). I played racket ball a few weeks ago and it was really fun. Only thing was none of us really knew the rules, so we just hit the ball around a lot and had fun.

On My Way Home
So I'm sitting at the train station right now, in a rather uncomfortable wooden bench seat. And its really hard to get comfy. Although I guess if they were comfy I might fall asleep. Who makes up these train schedules? 2am? Are you kidding me? What kind of person thinks, oh we should schedule a train for 2am becuase that is such a busy time when everyone wants to travel.
So any way...I definitly over packed. My bags are so stuffed I'm afraid to open them, stuff might come flying out at me. ;) I brought so much stuff to entertain myself since I am going to be sitting in this stupid station for about another 2 hours. I have books (2), homework, my aptop, some food, stuff for registering (since I actually can now), and random stuff I need like my wallet.
So about the registering, its a really long long story, but I guess I have hours to waste. So I never got assigned an academic advisor at the Alive orientation, so I figured once I was assigned one, they would let me know. But then time for registering came around and I still didn't have and advisor. My registration hold was for Thursday at 12:20. So Monday I went to the Student Advising Center and asked them who my advisor was, all they told me was that I had an advisor from the Natural Sciences Department and that I should ask the department. So I called them (the guy was really grumpy about it) and they told me who my advisor was and gave me some contact info. So I e-mailed her that night. By wednesday night she still hadn't e-mailed me back, so I sent her another one. She finally got back to me on Thursady and said that she wouldn't have time to meet with me and that I should get a new advisor. So she gave me the number of some guy I should call. So I called right away, this was around 4:30, but there was no answer so I left a message with a call back number. The guy never called back though. So finally on Friday, after my registration hold had passed, I went to the advising center and said I need an advisor now and I'm changing my major. She sent me to the Natural Sciences Department to pick up my folder which I had to then take to the Biological Sciences Department where they would assign me a new advisor. The lady there was at least nice, she told me she would get back to me as soon as possible with a new advisor. Later that day I got an e-mail with my new advisor's name and contact info. So I e-mailed him right away and he actually got back to me only an hour later! So now he lifted the hold and I can register, and we will meet later. Yay!

My First Blog
So I finally decided to get a blog. Not really sure what I'm supposed to do with it or put in it. But whatever.
So college life so far...pretty fun I guess. Lots of new friends and plenty to do. The classes really aren't as hard as I thought they would be. And I've only been here for like two months and I have switched my major already. I realized a major in Wildlife Ecology wasn't going to get me anywhere in life. So now its Zoology. Basically the same but it leads to a few more doors. It means I get to take fun classes like math 140 (that's like biological math, whatever that's supposed to be) but it should be so much more fun than boring regular math.
Can't wait for next semester, there are going to be a lot of new changes. Like I get to move in with Mechelle! It will be so much better and so much fun! My roommate right now just sleeps all day, talks to herself a lot, and cooks food that smells really weird. Oh and she always seems to have this constant runny nose that is so irritating. But anyway...I also get to take a bunch new classes that will hopefully be more fun.
Thanksgiving break is coming up soon too! Yay! Only 2 more days to go. But I am really nervous about riding the the train for the first time and going alone. But oh well, I'll survive. Well I guess I should get back to studying for my chem and anthropology exams that I have tomorrow. And oh darn! I have an essay due tonight too. :( A boring paper for english that is basically about nothing.
